A Room With a View
We needed to get out of town for a couple of days since
GSU was off for Spring Break, so we decided to go to
Gatlinburg to the Inn at Christmas Place.
It is actually in Pigeon Forge and is without question the
least tacky thing going in that town.
I have friends that bring their kids to this hotel every
December to ring in the holiday season. As you can see
it is totally precious, and Miranda loved being able to see
Santa. All 10 or so of them.
There were several Santas staying in the hotel, and we
saw several around town. They all were in character even
though they weren't in costume. We found out today that
they were having a Santa convention in town. That explained
a lot. Miranda thought they were all real even though all
the Mrs. Santas looked totally different each time.
Don't let the firing squad look on her face fool you.
She was loving this place. She was not loving the
photographer, but what else is new?
Not staged.
She decided to blow his horn on her own.
I slathered her lips with antibacterial gel after.
I'm kidding, but the thought crossed my mind.
Instead of a coo coo bird, Santa comes out of the top.
Shocker.
This one really makes our red and gold themed
tree at home look like a piece of crap.
The sign says "Do not touch."
The head said "Touch it."
Conflicts of the young and curious.
They serve Christmas cookies by the fire place in the
evening. This place was so much fun...even in March.
