My Visit to Mimi & Papa's House

Aunt Deborah, Aunt Julie, Mommy & Daddy went out one night,
so Mimi, Papa & I watched Sleeping Beauty together...sort of.

We were so tired from all my fantastic piano playing.

Papa tripped the light fandango to my awesome beats.

I showed off my glass slippers.

And played a lot of peek a boo with Mimi.

I practiced pointing my toes.

Papa taught me some new steps.
So You Think You Can Dance here we come!

Aunt Julie taught me how to take pictures with the camera.
The tables have now turned on Mommy.
Mwah, mwah, mwah...!
Mommy & Daddy also figured out the genetic link to my
Gene Simmons tongue.

Mimi & Papa's Best Park Ever

Aunt Julie getting her swerve on.
This is called "Common Ground" Park.
We loooooved it.
Miranda taking the nifty new slide in stride.

Daddy was surprised at how quickly you move on it.

Aunt Julie was shocked, too!

Loving some big girl swing action!

Skinny Slide

Climbing to the top of the web.

Best ride ever!
Here's the wind up...

Going...

Going...

Still going...

Stillllllll going...

Oh, brother.

Gone.

Can't stay upright.
Still trying with a little assistance.

Man Down.
Thankfully, her lunch stayed down.

All Dressed Up...

with someplace to go!
I went to see the Rockettes tonight.

I loved it!!!

They sang (and danced). Santa sang and
danced, too.

This is my casual pose.

This is my ladylike pose.

Living With A Disney Princess

It isn't always easy living with a Disney Princess.

Occasionally, they are regal and dignified.

Every once in awhile, they can be laid back.

However, they are often oblivious to you
because they are "busy" looking at their notes.

At other times they can be quite testy.

Perception is Reality

We ate Chinese food for dinner tonight.
Miranda opened her fortune cookie and read to us:
Happy New Year! You will get to go to Disney World, ballet, & Stone Mountain.

As you can see from the actual fortune, she was elaborating.

Silly Goose!

Halloween...sort of

You may have heard that Halloween did not go as expected this year. The GREAT news is that Miranda did get to trick or treat on Friday at the Quest Diagnostics next to her school. She was Tinkerbell in the annual Halloween parade.

Stinkerbell

Neat wings

Special fairy hair

This is what Miranda really did on Halloween:
Watching Monsters, Inc. at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta while waiting on her strep test.
Bummer.
She was a really good sport for a little girl who missed out on lots of candy and a birthday party.

Miranda's New Limo

5 Star Safety for the Divine Miss M
(who cried her eyes out when I told her we weren't going
to have the white Vibe anymore...until she laid eyes on her
new Silver Bullet Subaru)

I have turned into a Subaru driving professor/mom stereotype.
There are worse things to be.
