Game Day Goings On

Look at me!
I can rush with a ball, too.
Pretty in Pink
These colors are certainly as cool
as orange and blue, right?
Hi, Daddy.
Don't be down because the Gators
are having a rough time on TV.

Ice Cream: The Emotional Rollercoaster

Gimme the $#&!* ice cream, Daddy!

Down the hatch.

Yummy heaven. Mmmmmmmm.

Yeah for ice cream!
(Does this look a little like brain freeze?)

Little Renoir

I am loving my crayons these days. I worked on this masterpiece for a whole night! MK

Cake Walker

Miranda really enjoyed participating in the "cake walk" at school with some older children. She stomped her feet to the music and walked around the circle with a perma-grin. Oh, brother!

Baby's First Tattoo

We took Miranda Goose to her first Fall Festival at "school." She loved every bit of it EXCEPT the part when her teacher put a Dora the Explorer temporary tattoo on her arm. If the look of concern doesn't tell the story, she keeps trying to cover it with her hand and grimaces when she looks at it. We can only hope she will carry this disgust through young adulthood and that it will generalize to piercings, too. : )

I like to eat eat eat...apples and bananas!

I am working on my spooning and forking daily. I still like to make a giant mess with my food though! xo MK

Sneaky Snake

My parents are learning that when things get quiet...really, really quiet...it probably means I'm not doing what they think I am doing. This morning, I snuck off with their ChickFilA bag. They thought it was empty, but the bottom had some extra tots that I feasted on and tried to share with Elmo. When they heard me making yummy sounds, they realized I was doing more than playing with an old paper bag. I'll have to work on making softer "mmmm" sounds in the future.

Walk the Line

Mommy doesn't know it, but I like to put on her shoes and pretend to be her. I almost have "her" down pat except for the part about wearing pants.

My Turn!

I am going through a phase (they hope). When Mommy needs to use her computer, I like to sit in the chair at the desk. When Daddy is at the sink, I must wedge myself between him and the sink. If they are doing anything, it suddenly becomes my turn to be attended to. That's my rule. I like to call it "Miranda's Rights."

Cookie Monster

Well, this is Miranda Goose's first Oreo. I think it should probably be her last based on the amount of it on the face, in the hair, and in the...ears. So much Oreo found its way under Miranda's nails that she looked like a mechanic, according to her father.
