She took a bad spill at school yesterday when she couldn't get herself stopped in time as she ran across the playground.

The fence came out of nowhere.

She dropped to her knees, but her face (ouch!) is what stopped her motion.

She went right into a chain link fence.

Could have been worse for sure.

She's in good spirits.

Miranda received a very special gift in the mail today from our friend Laura.  She is so talented and creative and knows just what floats MK's boat.

How cute are these barrettes???

Little Mermaid -- so precious!

Without knowing it, Laura cosmically knew I got a ridiculously good deal (from $60 to $9 -- that's less than a Target dress) on this strawberry dress about a month ago.  Her new strawberry barrette is perfect with it!

My Teaching Assistant

Well, today I had the pleasure of creating a final exam

for the Ethics class I am teaching this summer.

I also had the pleasure of having a teaching assistant

(see the pretzel eating nu-nu above).

Here I am being advised to offer lots of

extra credit. Fat chance!

Writing the test made both of us want
to hit the bottle. Only one of us actually did.

Clearly, someone here is impaired which is
an ethical issue, don't you think?

Yeah, it was Elmo's fault.
