We Heart Y'all!

On Valentine's Day, everyone should get to eat heart-shaped pizza.

With people who love you

And share common interests (or at least act like it)

And love you BECAUSE you are a goofball.

Happy Valentine's Day, everybody.

'Dem Be Ball Playing Clothes!

Keeping her eye on the ball.

When Miranda opened her (early) birthday present from Aunt Stephanie, she immediately stripped, changed, and found a ball to play with. Apparently, this outfit screams "play ball" in her mind. Thank you, Aunt Stephanie. The "flick flocks" are a giant hit as well. There are also known as "mommy shoes."

Love is in the Air!

My super sweet husband and daughter made me a surprise Valentine's cake. They surprised me when I got home from work -- Monday's a late night for me. The video tells the rest of the precious story.

Happy Birthday, Aunt Stephanie!

Not G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S, but it works. Happy Birthday, Auntie Step-Annie!

Has Spring Sprung?

Randy and I went on a date last night. We do that from time to time. Usually, we go to dinner and a movie and come home way earlier than Nana expects us home. We are dorks like that. Last night, we went to see a really good but highly upsetting movie about someone who goes after the people who abducted his daughter. Probably should have seen the romantic comedy instead. We left the movie so unsettled and with a case of Miranda on the brain, so we stopped at Target and got her a new dress. A spring dress. Yeah, it's early for that, but we couldn't resist. She is modeling it for you below.

Really? I'm trying to watch my show.

There's a smile.

This looks like cooperation, but the eyes are actually on the TV and not me.

Is this come hither or go fly a kite?
Either way, we think it's sweet.
Have a good week, everybody!

LL Cool Dora

This morning...3 days after she might have needed one...
Miranda asked for a bandaid for her left knee.
She walked around with her left pant leg hiked up to her crotch for almost an hour, so the bandaid would not rub against her pants.
She also limped.
Did I mention that she is not injured?

And the Academy Award for Best Limping While Uninjured
goes to....M'Nanda Kate Wynne.

Super Bowl Projections & Taste Tests

Mommy & Daddy: Miranda, who is going to win the Super Bowl?

Miranda: Ummmmmm. That's an easy question.

Miranda: Gooooo Steelers!

Miranda decided to do some cooking today.
All good chefs taste their creations.

Needs a little more stirring.
And a little more tasting.
Yes, that's a mouthful of pudding.

Perfect-O!

Have a great week, everybody! xo MK
